Fishing

One of the most popular fishing areas along the fox river is just below the De Pere lock and dam near Voyager Park.  The Fox River Trail runs right next to Voyager Park where anglers commonly fish from the bank.

Another popular fishing area lies just north of the trailhead in Green Bay extending north to the Walnut Street bridge.  A portion of a railroad trestle was converted into a large fishing pier near the trailhead in 2006.

If you prefer fishing from a boat, there are two boat launches adjacent to the trail.  The Fox Point Boat Launch (directions) off of Riverside Drive is about a mile north of Voyager Park and the Bomier Street Boat Launch (directions) is about a half mile south of the dam.
